The Problem

HTH Pools had an innovative solution to the problem of remote pool maintenance. A connected pool chemical feed device. There was only one problem - the device itself had no way to be configured or monitored other than via an on device screen. The HTH team contacted us to build a mobile application that could be used by owners and maintenance teams alike to monitor and manage pool water quality remotely.

The Solution

Building for multiple audiences within a single application poses significant technical as well as UX problems. My team got to work identifying all of the myriad configuration steps required to manage the device as well as the complex paths to create power user level maintenance team accounts.

Configuring chemical levels, displaying complex information and giving the owner users the ability to quickly identify if the pool was ready to enjoy were all key UX targets.

The Result

HTH Pools continues to innovate while the final hardware product is finalizing development. You can view some of the early wireframes below or email me to get a walkthrough of the final designs.
