About me

I'm a tinkerer by nature. 

I enjoy finding new ways to connect existing technologies and people to find innovative solutions. I relish the opportunity to dig into a project and get my hands dirty. And I love finding ways to make things better for users.

With over two decades of experience in senior management at technology-focused firms I specialize in translating business requirements for design and product teams and laying out comprehensive strategies for success.

I believe in user-centric design, both for the end consumer and all of the internal stakeholders who will need to interact with the product. There’s no reason why administering your product should be complicated. But in the current age of AI-the-world I’ve adopted a view that I call Determined Agency Design. This practices allows for AI and generated material to live alongside user guided content, because at the end of the day our users are still people and we need to keep that in mind.

I also believe in my teams. I’ve worked with some truly outstanding designers and engineers in my time. I take great joy in my ability to clear the path for them while providing guidance. Whether it’s triaging UX problems or managing the expectations and timelines of senior management I’m a believer in hiring and mentoring better talent than yourself and freeing them to be able to do what they do best.
